In high-speed and high-accuracy machining of parametric curve,the minor contouring errors and smaller speed rate fluctuation is required.To achieve the aim, most researchers prefer the parametric curve interpolation algorithm,which can be interpolated in real time,but in the course of computing the parameter,the first-order or second-order Taylor's expansion approximation interpolation algorithm is used,which can bring out larger speed rate fluctuation.Therefore, with the improvement of computer performance,it is quite urgent to find out a new method which could solve the parameter accurately and quickly.In order to resolve the problem and improve the part's surfaces qualities,based on the traditional parametric solutions,the paper presents a new method by means of the application of numerical analysis method.Comparing with the setting value,the chord error is less,and the feed rate fluctuations smaller.In order to reduce the impact on the machining accuracy,which is caused by the slow convergence,the paper presents a new concept of virtual interpolation interval.through simulation,it can be concluded that the interpolation algorithm is proper not only for the lower cube curves with higher accuracy and lower fluctuation of rate,but also for the higher number of parameter of curves,such as quintic parameter curves.So the parameter interpolation algorithm has higher practical value.
