The synthesis and conductivity of poly(acrylonitrile-methyl methacrylate) [P(AN-MMA)]/SiO2 hybrid polymer solid electrolytes were studied in this paper.Basing on sol-gel method, [P(AN-MMA)]/SiO2 hybrid materials were prepared from AN, MMA and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) with 3-methacryloxypropyl -trimethoxysilane(KH570) as silane coupling agent. The best preparation conditions were researched and the relative result products were characterized by FT-IR, XPS, DSC, XRD. The results indicated that SiO2 combined with P(AN-MMA) by Si-O-Si. Compare with pure P(AN-MMA) material, P(AN-MMA)/SiO2 hybrid material was amorphous as the same as P(AN-MMA), but the glass transition temperature of P(AN-MMA)/SiO2 hybrid material is higher than that of P(AN-MMA) and increases with increase of silica content. These performance improved the conductivity of the electrolytes.LiClO4 was added into P(AN-MMA)/SiO2 hybrid materials,The result of AC impedance indicated: ionic conductivities of [P(AN-MMA)]/SiO2 can reach 10-3-10-4S·cm-1 at room temperature, the ionic conductivities of [P(AN-MMA)]/SiO2 solid electrolytes were significantly improved with the increase of SiO2 or the increase of LiClO4, but when the amount of SiO2 or LiClO4 exceeded a certain value, the ionic conductivity was decreased. the electrochemical window of the electrolytes indicated that P(AN-MMA)/SiO2 hybrid solid polymer electrolyte meet the performance need of lithium-ion batteries.
