Based on sol-gel principle, poly (lactic acid)-poly (ethylene glycol)-poly (lactic acid) (PLA-PEG-PLA)/TiO2 organic-inorganic hybrid material was prepared by two-step method. The structure and properities of hybrid material was further investigated.The structure and properities of hybrid material and the relative result products were characterized and measured by FT-IR, XPS, XRD, FSEM and DSC. The results show that PLA-PEG-PLA can hybridize with TiO2 sol and form Ti-O-C bonds; the hybrid material is amorphous which is beneficial to degradation; heat resistance of the hybrid material increases with the increase TiO2 wt %; and the compatibility between PLA-PEG-PLA and TiO2 is good.The invitro degradation of hybrid materials was conducted in normal saline at 37℃for 12 weeks. The three-dimensional porous scaffold obbained is available for the growth of cells and blood vessel. Moreover, the hydroxyl groups on TiO2 of the PLA-PEG-PLA/TiO2 hybrid material could buffer the acidic degrading products of PLA chain, which could decrease the inflammatory and was beneficial to proliferation of cell and tissue repairing.Using PLA-PEG-PLA/TiO2 hybrid material as drug carrier, aspirin-PLA-PEG-PLA/TiO2 microspheres (Aspirin-PLA-PEG-PLA/TiO2 MS) were prepared by solvent evaporation method. Microspheres are sized about 8μm in diameter, which may be used in controlled-release of drug. the study on invitro release indicate that Aspirin-PLA-PEG-PLA/TiO2 MS had a certain sustained release effect.
