Epoxy acrylate copolymer containing fluorine and without fluorine were prepared by solution polymerization, with methyl methacrylate (MMA), glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) and butyl acrylate(BA) or hexafluorobutyl acrylate (F6BA) as monomers.The influences of the feeding mode of the monomers, amount of initiator and solvent on the molecular weight and distribution of P(MMA/GMA/BA) were studied. The effects of BA on the grass transition temperature and melt index of the copolymer were investigated. FT-IR showed that the target product was prepared. GPC showed that the molecular weight by continuous feeding of monomer was smaller than batching. DSC showed that the glass transition temperature decreased from 85℃to 59℃with increasing of BA.The influences of amount of initiator, chain transfer agent and solvent on the molecular weight and distribution of P(MMA/GMA/F6BA) was studied. The effect of F6BA on the grass transition temperature of the copolymer was investigated. FT-IR and 13CNMR showed that the target product was prepared. GPC showed that the molecular weight was below 15000, and its dispersion index was about from 1.35 to 1.49. DSC showed that the glass transition temperature decreased from 85℃to 59℃with increasing of F6BA.The curing reaction of the resin/ hexandioic acid was studied by DSC, the equation of curing kinetics was established, the reaction was first order reaction, and the property of the film after curing was tested.The P(MMA/β-HPMA/F6BA) was prepared by emulsion polymerization, with MMA,β-hydroxypropyl methacrylate(β-HPMA) and F6BA as monomers,and then the emulsion was modified with SiO2 formed the hydrolysis of tetraelorthosilicate on the alkaline medium. The influence of composite emulsifiers, initiator on the property of the copolymer was studied. FT-IR showed that the target product was prepared. DSC showed that the glass transition temperature of the copolymer decreased with increasing SiO2. TG showed that thermal stability of the copolymer was increased about 30℃with SiO2.The diameter and size distribution of the copolymer was researched by LPS and the results showed the size distribution of the copolymer was the normal distribution and the diameter significantly increased with adding SiO2.
