With the development of human society,energy is increasingly becoming the focus of attention,and as a major non-renewable energy resource-oil has become more important.Now,the theft of crude oil is increasing,and the oil wells are becoming increasingly difficult to protect due to a variety of means to theft the oil. The monitoring system for oil well based on GSM this subject researches in is designed under the background that oil theft occurs frequently around well-head oil wells.The research has been made in using the GSM system,the short message service of GSM is analyzed,the oil well monitoring system which takes the GSM network as a platform for long-distance signal transmission is designed,and this system selects the short message method to transmit data.The system includes hardware design and monitoring software for oil well based on GSM design two parts together.And hardware circuit design includes monitoring terminal and monitoring center,monitoring terminal includes GSM communications module TC35I and its drive circuit,PIC16F877 single-chip, address coding circuit,power supply circuits,sensor data acquisition and processing circuit;monitoring center includes TC35I and its drive circuit, PIC18F6520 single-chip,LED display and alarm processing circuit,and it is through RS-232 to connect a computer monitor.The PIC single-chip software of monitoring terminal and monitoring center includes main procedure,warning procedure,receiving and sending short messages procedure through the serial port, as well as data encryption,decryption procedures and so on,monitoring terminal also includes sensors monitoring the data acquisition and processing procedures. The monitoring software is compiled using Java language,and it deals with alarm messages through many functions such as warning demonstration,chart monitoring devices,statistical charts,printing reports and so on.Through the debugging and on-site experiments,the system can achieve very good results of anti-theft monitoring the well-head,a reduction of staff input,well shortened the found time of events that stealing oil wells,and also has improved the working efficiency of security department and enhanced the safety factor of oil wells.
