In this paper ,studied the groove width of sulfuric acid corrosion erosion method,and quantitative said the feasibility of intergranular corrosion sensitivity of stainless steel.I measured Sensitization of the stainless steel which were heated treatment at different times in sulfuric acid solution resulting from corrosion groove width.At the same time, electrochemical reactivation (EPR) and oxalic acid electro-etching were measured the degree of sensitization of stainless steel. The results showed that heated treatment sensitized longer, EPR method measured the greater the degree of sensitization, sulfuric acid corrosion erosion method groove width greater, The EPR method measured sensitization and sulfuric acid etching method measured the width of the trench between corrosion good linear relationship,The EPR method measured sensitization and sulfuric acid etching method measured the width of the trench between corrosion good linear relationship, Corrosion groove width can be used to quantify degree of sensitization of stainless steel, Oxalic acid electro-etching method can not be good to distinguish between different sensitized stainless steel heat-treatment time the degree of sensitivity.
