To go on with works by our group, in this thesis we chose B-type Anderson polyoxoanions as building blocks, employed transition-metal coordination complexes, which are decorated or bridged to Anderson polyoxoanions, six novel B-type Anderson polyoxometalates were synthesized. These compounds are characterized by elemental analyses, IR, TG, XRD, and X-ray diffraction analysis, the luminescence, magnetic, and electronic properties were also studied.Six transition-metal derivatives of the B-type Anderson Polyoxometalates compounds: (H3O+) [Cu(phen)(H2O)3]2[{Cu (phen )(H2O)3}2{Al(OH)6Mo6O18}](PO4)2·6H2O (1) (H3O+) [Cu(phen)(H2O)3]2[{Cu (phen )(H2O)3}2{Cr(OH)6Mo6O18}](PO4)2·6H2O (2) (H3O+)[Cu(C6NO2H4)(phen)(H2O)]2[Al(OH)6Mo6O18]·5H2O (3) (H3O+)[Cu(C6NO2H4)(phen)(H2O)]2[Cr(OH)6Mo6O18]·5H2O (4) [{Cu(C12N2H8)(H2O)3}2{AlMo6(OH)6O18}][{Cu2(μ-ox)(phen)2}{AlMo6(OH)6O18}]·10H2O (5) [{Cu(C12N2H8)(H2O)3}2{CrMo6(OH)6O18}][{Cu2(μ-ox)(phen)2}{CrMo6(OH)6O18}]·12H2O (6) Compounds 1–6 were all built up of B-type Anderson polyoxoanions and copper coordination complexes, Compounds 1–4 display discrete supramolecular structures, Compounds 5 and 6 are isomorphic 3D open frameworks which include 1D chainlike structure. The compounds 1 and 2 are Anderson polyoxoanions supported Copper complexes with single ligand; compounds 3–6 are inorganic-organic hybrids build up of Anderson polyoxoanions supported Copper complexes with different mixed ligands. Compounds 5 and 6 are rare because of containing B-type Anderson polyoxoanions in both anions and cations, at the same time both of them include dinuclear copper complexes which may exhibit antiferromagnetic coupling properties.
