Halogen-free and non-phosphorus flame-retardant PBMA had been successful prepared via joining different flame retardant system in this paper,and material performance was also studied.After a series of improvement on the isolation,flame retardant system and inhibitor process,it had been successfully applied to propellant.Silica gel(SG),potassium carbonate(PC) and aluminum hydroxide(ATH) was used to imrove the flame retardant(FR) property of PBMA.When the dosage of SG/PC is 4%,T10,T50 and Tmax all elevate in TG curve and the weight of carbom in 500℃reaches 6.5%,and the mechanism of FR had been analyzed.When the dosage of flame retardant is 30%,material had a better FR property,and its level bumning reaches FH-3-19.3 mm/min and LOI could reach 23.5%and the weight ofcarbom in 500℃is higher(29.7%).IR,raman and XRD were used to analyze the profile of the carbon residure.At last,material mechanical property was studied.Two kinds of silane monomer(KH570 and KH571) was used to imrove the flame retardant(FR) property of PBMA.When the dosage of silane monomer is 46.0%,material had a better FR property,and its level bumning reach FH-3-20.8mm/min and LOI could reach 22.5%and the weight of carbom in 500℃is higher(22.3%).IR,raman and XRD were used to analyze the profile of the carbon residure.At last,material mechanical property was studied.Finally,flame-retardant PBMA with different flame retardant system was applied to powder propellant as inhibitor layer.At first,isolation was prepared to protect the propellant from rupturing,and aluminum hydroxide(ATH) had been used to improve the antimigration of NG and compatibility,when the dosage of ATH is 30%,isolation has the best heat property, when the dosage of ATH is 10%and 20%,its compatibility could reach A level.There flame retardant system PBMA inhibitor's compatibility with powder all reach A level.The linearity ablation velocity of PBMA with silane monomer modified is the least(0.204 mm·s-1).
