The conversion of carbon and nitrogen is extraordinary important in composting. In this paper, dynamics of food wastes composting was studied, making use of mathematic model on the basis of process,to optimize conversion of carbon and nitrogen process.Model of the conversion of carbon and nitrogen in compost was built, and was amended on nitrogen conversion dynamics.Organic matter concentration(OM) and ammonia concentration(N) was simulated, and the average relative error between experimental and simulated was 9.91%,16.08%respectively. And then dynamics model-based neural network model was built, whose average relative error between experimental and simulated of OM and N are 1.48%,6.92% respectively. Finally, genetic algorithm combining with neural networks was adopted,to achieve OM degradation rates maximal and N loses minimum at the same time. The result shows that OM degradation rate may improve 10%in accumulative,N may increase 10 times about at the same time.
