The flue gas in the thermal power plant, after the wet flue gas desulphurization,is saturated, and the temperature is low.If the wet flue gas is injected by stack without reheating, once the anticorrosion treatment improperly, which will cause serious corrosion of the stack, and more attention has been given to the uplift problem. The concept of natural draft cooling tower(NDCT) with flue gas injection is introduced firstly. For the problem of the gas diffusion and uplift, the k-εturbulence model is used, and the computational fluid dynamics software is applied in numerical calculation. The plume spread is impacted by the different weather conditions, such as the changes in environmental wind speed, which is analyzed mostly.By calculating and analyzing the contours of velocity and path lines, indicate the admixture between hot-wet air and flue gas and the impact of the atmospheric flows. At the same time, the economic and technical problems faced are analyzed in the application of the NDCT with flue gas injection.
