Polycrystalline Diamond Compact (PDC) not only has high hardness and high wearing resistance, due to the reasons for cemented carbide substrate, but also has the advantage of strong shock resistance. PDC is a kide of super-hard compact material based on diamond powder as raw materials and WC hard alloy as matrix synthesis ,sintered under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure through specific synthesis technology. As a type of special composite, PDC has been increasingly applied in machining non-metaiiic and hard abrasive materials due to its unique special properties, gradually take the place of single-crystal diamond.As a result of the different formulation and synthesis, the performance of PDC are different. The existing methods of PDC performance testing ,in addition to the wearing performance testing, other tests have resulted in PDC damage. And different manufacturers have different methods of to their products , this makes it hard to PDC to develop performance standards. If established a set of non-destructive and easy to be accepted detection methods, these problems may be resolved.The superiority and inferiority of PDC performance depend on the the raw materials and the sintering process basically. In general, cobalt as a binder are added to the diamond powder have a great impact on performance of PDC. In this paper, the object of the experiment is four groups of PDC (every group has two PDC) ,every group has different cobalt content .the combination of electricity detection and conventional detection methods used for the first time, it is committed to the establish the link between the AC impedance characteristics and their performance of PDC. Electricity detected used the method of AC impedance spectroscopy, conventional detection is detection the performance of wearing resistance and heat resistance.Every PDC has been tested of the wearing performance to obtain data. Then measure the impedance modulus and phase angle of PDC at different frequencies by the LCR intelligent measuring instrument, transform the data to graphics of AC impedance spectroscopy after processed by software origin, Bode modulus and Bode phase angle graphics mainly. Put PDC into muffle furnace at suitable temperature, test the wearing performance to obtain data of heat resistance. At the end of this paper, simulated out the corresponding equivalent circuit after the analysis of AC impedance spectroscopy. Each of the circuit components has been simulated out the fitting parameter values, taking into account the test of the wearing performance and heat resistance, know the difference of equivalent circuit components of each PDC , That such differences may reflect the differences in the performance of PDC.
