Hydrothermal synthesis of metal coordination polymers has aroused a great deal of interest. This thesis was focused on the hydrothermal synthesis of construction polymers by using transition metal (such as Cd2+,Zn2+ et al) as metal center and x-Hpytz (x-Hpytz = 3,5- di(x-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole, x=2,3,4) as ligands. Following 10 novel complexes were obtained, [Cd(2-pytz)Cl]∞(1) (1D zig-zag chains),Fe2(2-pytz)2(SCN)2·4H2O (2) (Dinuclear),[Cd2(2-Hpytz)(SO4)]∞(3) (1D ladder- like), [Zn(3-pytz)(OH)Cl2]∞(5) (1D ladder- like) , [Zn(3-Hpytz)(SO4)·7.5H2O]∞(6) (1D zig-zag chains) ,[Cd(3-Hpytz)(SO4)]∞(7) (3D hole frame),[Ag(4-pytz)]∞(10) (2D T-shape network ),[Zn(4-pytz)Cl]∞(11) (3D hole frame) , [Cd(4-H2pytz)(SCN)2·3H2O]∞(12) (3D diamondoid net),[Zn2(4-pytz)(SO4)(OH)]∞(13) (3D porous framework)。Experiment temperatures, reactant ratio and pH value and the addition of second ligand affected the reaction. Three new complexes were obatined by normal hydroponic method, [Cd(2-Hpytz)(SO4)]∞(4) (1D zig-zag chains),[Cd(3-Hpytz)(SO4)·5H2O]∞(8) (1D zig-zag chains),[Ag(3-pytz) (BF4)]∞(9) (2D T-shape). Introduction of second ligand affected the structure effectively.Another ligand--4,4'-dipyridyl sulfide (dps) containing pyridyl group was utilized to self assembly with transition metals (such as Cd2+,Fe2+), 2 novel 1D chains coordination polymers were obtained, [Fe(dps)2(SCN)2(H2O)2]∞(14) , [Cd(dps)2 (SCN)2(H2O)2]∞(15).
