Intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) compounds are very important for optical materials and have been an active research area. Among them, D-A compounds, because of their unique molecular structure, have been extensively (?)nvestigated and widely studied in luminescent, photoconductive, nonlinear optical materials and so on. In this thesis, we pay attention to the study on a kind of new ICT compounds with N-S conjugated system. The major contents we researched were as follows:In introduction, the classification and potential applications of ICT compounds are reviewed briefly. The research progresses of ICT compounds with N-S conjugated system are described, and the effects of protonation and metal coordination on ICT property were discussed. In chapter 2, protonated compounds of L1 with CF3SO3H,HClO4 and L2 with CF3SO3H were synthesized (L1/L2=4',5'-diaza-9'-(4,5-dimethylthio/diethylthio -1,3-dithiole-2-ylidene)fluorine).The crystal structures of L2 and the protonated compounds were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The IR,UV-vis, fluorescence and 1HNMR spectra were also studied to further investigate the ICT effect between protonated diazafluorene and sulfur-rich moiety. In chapter 3, five complexes of L1 with Zn(NO3)2,Zn(PhCOO)2,ZnCl2, Zn(ClO4)2 and L2 with Zn(ClO4)2 were prepared. The crystal structures of these complexes were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The spectral properties were investigated and the ICT behaves of these complexes were also discussed.
