In this paper, palygorskite powder was selected as carrier, and the Fe (OH)3/palygorskite was prepared with Fe(NO3)3·9H2O by Hydrolysis-precipitation Method, then the composite was reduced by H2,so magnetic iron oxide/palygorskite was formed;the TiO2/magnetic iron oxide/palygorskite photocatalysis materials was prepared with titanium tetrabutyloxide as the precursor and magnetic iron oxide /palygorskite as carrier by sol-gel methods. And the composite catalyst was characterized by XRD,TEM,MS and FT-IR to determine the crystal phase, shape and appearance characteristic and bond types of TiO2/magnetic iron oxide/palygorskite photocatalysis materials. The photocatalytic activity was characterized using the degradation of Methylene Blue under 300W mercury lamp irradiation, and we got the appropriate value of temperature,H2O,pH, C2H5OH and the loading amount of TiO2.Then,the research in adsorption process for the Methylene Blue with photocatalysis materials was done, and the the mechanism of composite catalyst adsorption onto Methylene Blue was discussed by adsorption kinetics at different initial concentration, different temperature and different rotate speed. It is studied that effect of calcination temperature for absorptive and photocatalytic activities of composite photocatalyst, different photocatalyst dosage, different initial concentration, different initial pH value,Inorganic Oxidizer H2O2.The conclusions are as follows.(1) The research of recovery rate which was the evaluation standard was done through magnetic recovery device. It shows that the magnetic susceptibility was 1250*10-8m3/kg when the loading amount of Fe is 10%and calcinated at 300℃for enough time, and the recovery rate was about 92%.(2) When optimized the conditions of preparation catalyst,it show that the optimum calcination temperature was 500℃,the loading amount of TiO2 was 20%, pH=5.5,n(H2O / Ti(OBu)4)= 10(molar ratio),m(C2H5OH / Ti(OBu)4)= 18(molar ratio).(3) The adsorption of Methylene Blue(MB) water vapor by TiO2 / magnetic iron oxide / palygorskite powder was controlled both the external diffusion and the chemisorption. (4) The photocatalysis materials not only had good adsorption properties, but also had good photocatalytic effect.(5) When added H2O2,the reaction rate enhaced significantly;the scan of UV-Vis and the analysis of FT-IR showed that the Benzene ring group(290nm) and chromophoric groups(665nm) were degradation by ring cleavage, and the most bond of final product was H-O bond.
