A compression combination mould was designed by ourselves. Wheat stalk briquette mixing pulping waste liquor was made using universal testing machine. The influence law of solidification caused by particle size, proportion of waste liquor and pressure was studied under different waste concentration. Two forming experiments were compared mixing pulping waste liquor and water respectively in the same proportion. The broken- resistance and water-resistance of the briquettes were studied. Combustion characteristics of the briquettes were analyzed by thermogravimetric analyzer. Results showed that the better molding effect was born in following situation: particle size 0~15mm, pressure 75Mpa, ratio of pulping waste liquor 15% and concentration of pulping waste liquor 50%. Adding pulping waste liquor could lower the ignition temperatuer, but increased the burning time. It had no influence on the ash content of the briquettes.
