It is the high-tech century, the new industrial revolution which is rising for economizing the energy and the resource, protecting the ecology and implementing Sustainable Development in 21st century. As a comprehensive activator of Photocatalytic, TiO2 nanofibers is stabile, cheap, easly obtained and high catalyses efficiency, so it is attended to repair the air and water pollution. Researchers discover that adulterate technic can enhance catalyses efficiency, TiO2 complex material is a hotspot nowadays.Through sol-gel processing and electrospinning technique, thin fibers of PVP/Ti(OC4H9)4 and PVP/Ti(OC4H9)4/Ce(NO3)3 composite fibers were prepared. The favorite nanofibers with smooth surface, homogeneous diameters of 100-300nm and uniform morphology TiO2,TiO2/CeO2 without changing their morphology via calcination in air were obtained. Then, the structures and physicochemical properties of the composites were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman scattering studies (Raman). In the end, the photocatalytic efficiencies of TiO2,TiO2/CeO2 were assessed by monitoring the photodegradation of Methylene blue. Research results indicate that:1. Heat treatment about rising temperature rate has an important infection on fibre appearances: For fine fibre appearances, heat treatment speed must control below 40oC/h.2. Heat treatment temperature has an important infection on crystal configuration : For pure TiO2 , the XRD results showed that the anatase-type TiO2 was formed at 500℃and transformed to rutile at 600℃;But for TiO2/CeO2, as the temperature to 800℃, rutile phase began to form. Compared to the pure TiO2 nano-fibers, Ce dopant had a great inhibition on TiO2 crystalline.3. Temperature and adulterate concentration has an important infection on Photocatalytic degradation: For pure TiO2, the maximum photocatalytic decomposition rate was achieved with a calcination temperature at 500℃, as the calcinations temperature increased to 600℃and 700℃, the photoactivity decreased. Moreover, the sample is easy to be reclaimed and considerable high photocatalytic efficiency can be obtained. For TiO2/CeO2, the photocatalytic reactions confirmed that TiO2/CeO2 enhanced photocatalytic activity relative to the pure TiO2 .The high photocatalytic efficiency can be obtained when the calcination temperature was 600℃and the Ce contained was 0.5mol%.
