Mechanism Of Short Arc Machining (SAM)

Short arc machining(SAM) technique has special performance on machining hard machining materials which have great rigidity,intensity and tenacity. At this time, the working mechanism of SAM technique is not yet clear,and the technological method is not very advanced.It is necessary to research about technical mechanism question based on former study conclusions.In this issue, the authors assume a mechanism of the short arc process, using experimental methods to verify its basic law and summarize the main tasks as follows:1, a brief introduction of the special processing technology present the basic principles, characteristics, development status, trends and hot topics of current research and results, and with a short arc process were analyzed.2, arc discharge gas from the theory of short-arc processing of the basic law of the processing carried out in-depth research and analysis, in this based on short-arc discharge processing theoretical issue.3, on the gas-liquid mixture processing in the short arc of the special role played by a more detailed analysis and research.
