Heavy metal ions wastewater can pollute our environment. It's very dangerous to the human beings and the biological. Although many different ways can be used, each of them has its problems. Micellar-enhanced ultrafiltration is a new technology to tre- at the metal ions aqueous solution. Our experiment used micellar-enhanced ultrafiltra- tion technology to treated the aqueous solution containing Pb2+,Zn2+,Cu2+,Hg2+. Then we research the influence of the process parameters to this technology. At the same time, we also research using ultrafiltration to treat the aqueous solution conta- ining alkaline earth metal ions. Our result appears this technology can be used to treat the waste water containing low concentrations of metal ions,This technology can be handled easily. Its equipments are simple,Its separation efficiency is high, The water quality is good and can be reused after being treated.The influence of temperature is very slight when used micellar-enhanced ultra filtration to treat the aqueous solution containing Pb2+,Zn2+,Cu2+,Hg2+. The infl- uence of PH value and surfactant concentration is great to the retention of metal ions. When the surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) concentration arrived 8 mmol/ L, PH=9, the pressure arrived 0.20MPa to ultrafiltration,the retention rate of Pb2+, Zn2+ and Cu2+ could arrive 99.51%, 98.99%, 99.35% separ-ateely. When Surfactant sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate (SDBS) arrived 2mmol/L, PH=9, the pressure arrived 0.20MPa to ultrafiltration,the retention rate of Pb2+, Zn2+ and Cu2+ couldarrive99.67%, 99.25%,99.61% separately. When the quality ratio of Hg2+ to chitosan is 5:6,PH control more than 9,used chitosan to cheated Hg2+, the removal rate is nearly100%.Ultrafiltration separated the aqueous solution containing alkaline-earth metal ions, the results can be listed: Firstly, the rate of magnesium retention could arrive the highest when PH=10; Secondly, the rate of calcium retention could arrive the highest when PH=12;Thirdly, after complexation with EDTA-2Na, the retention rate of Mg2+, Ca2+, Ba2+ could arrive 72.86%, 74.37% and 83.27% separately. Lastly, after compl- exation with sodium pyrophosphate, the retention rate of Mg2+, Ca2+, Ba2+ could arrive 70.9%, 73.71% and 81.85% separately.Through practical study of mercury-containing waste water: Ultrafiltration separated the waste water using chitosan chelate mercury ion.
