A hard anodizing process on 6061 aluminum alloy sheet was researched in electrolyte H2SO4 in this paper.Optimal technological parameters of major factors effecting on hardness was achieved by analyzing microstructure of film.These parameters were used to improve surface hardness of aluminum alloy sheet for extending applied ranges of 6061 aluminum alloy sheet.In this paper,basic property of aluminum and aluminum alloy,6 series aluminum alloy,6061 aluminum alloy,and accelerated formation film technique of hard anodizing were introduced.Characters,mechanics of film forming,applied range,growth conditions of hard anodic oxidation film were simply described. Present status and trend in development of 6061 aluminum alloy hard anodic oxidation were illustrated.Then objects and contents of this topic were put forward.Characters of experimental materials 6061 aluminum alloy sheet,experimental installation,methods and routes were declared one by one.Preparation technological conditions and micro-analysis of hard anodic oxidation film were discussed.Meanwhile,effects of metallic elements in aluminum alloy on oxidation film,and effects of baking on oxidation film hardness were studied.Analysis of 6061 anodizing film fire waste mechanism with the plating rack and the bubble of.In the end,analysis of practical application with the technology of the 6061 hard anodizing film and the economic benefit.It is shown that different technologies on 6061 aluminum alloy could achieve hard anodic oxidation film which had difference quality.A set of equipment for hard anodizing at constant pulse current power was auto-designed by the laboratory. Optimal technology was obtained for commercial run of 6061 aluminum alloy sheet. This new process of cleaning works before treatment was operated simply and conveniently without environmental pollution.The hardness of oxidation film with baking is higher 50~100HV than oxidation film without baking.
