Compound Pendulum Jaw Crusher is a kind of commonly crusher, its responsibility is broken missions of the metallurgy, mining, chemicals, building materials industries, as well as highway and railway construction, this kind of crusher is commonly used. It's often used to broken the hard rock (or mineral), it's used in wide range of engineering applications. However, in more than 100 years, the research and a newly development always followed the same principle, and traditional Jaw Crusher's size is so large and heavy, in order to shorten the gap and catch up with world's advanced level, the task to develop and improve the technology of crusher is a priority.Finite element analysis is one of a developing trend in mechanical design and manufacturing field, it was used to analyze the stress of parts, checked the value of the strength, stiffness, and in the premise of ensuring safety, to do optimize the structure in the greatest extent. Improve the economy and the machine efficiency. To fully use of 3-D modeling software-Solidworks to create compound pendulum jaw crusher, Based on COSMOSMotion and COSMOSWorks simulation platform, cooperative calculation of kinematics and structural FEM is realized through transfer of moving loads, and to optimize the structure of the Jaw Crusher.(1) The three-dimensional model is created on the Solidworks platform and the Jaw Crusher is simulated on COSMOSMotion, through the kinematics' analysis of the Jaw Crusher, quantitative description of the broken jaw trajectories of mobile, horizontal and vertical as well as the characteristic values, determined the machine cycle at maximum load conditions.(2) Based on COSMOSMotion and COSMOSWorks simulation platform, cooperative calculation of kinematics and structural FEM , The results show that stress of mobile jaw changes with working position. The stress distribution pattern of mobile jaw at the maximum load is presented, which can be used as guide to improve product design.(3) On COSMOSWorks the structural is optimized. To optimize the dimension on mobile jaw where stress is small and value of the safety factor is too large, to reduce thick part of the structure and its weight, which can be used to increase economic efficiency.The research can be used to improve machine performance which provides a basis to improve the parameters of mobile jaw, there is practical significance and a better guide to improve the energy-saving Jaw Crusher.
