| With the development of automotive technology, the engine performance is improved continuously, the working conditions becoming worse.Good engine lubrication is one of an important factor to its working stability. so ,the performance of the engine lubricating oil is also need to be improvement. Engine lubricanting oil is compused with base oils and additives,the quality and characteristicof base oil and additives determine the quality of engine oil performance, and features of additives play a important role in exerting the function of lubricating oil. Traditional anti-wear extreme pressure additives can no longer meet the development trends of modern engine lubricants beacause of containing element of phosphorus and chlorine, improving the tribological properties of lubricating oil with new method has became a constant problem to be solved.Nanoparticles have some peculiar characters, such as surface effect, the quantum size effect, volume effect, and macroscopical quantum tunneling effect.When we add the nanoparticles into lubricant oil, they play a good effect to enhance the role of anti-wear.Especially in the conditions of heavy-duty, high-speed, high temperature, low temperature, and the bad pollution environment, nano-materials as a lubricant additive displayed excellent lubrication performance, so researchers explore the application of nano-materials in lubricants and develop nano-materials as lubricant additives .The project is at the base of Tribological theory ,and used the knowledge of nano technology,Tribology,lubricating oil additives to research the tribological properties of new "nano-hydrocarbon" particles extreme-pressure and anti-wear additives, to add the "nano-hydrocarbon" additives into the lubricating oil to obtain best lubrication effect ,and test the its adaptability of additives in lubricating oil, providing reliable test data and analysis before taking application in CNG / gasoline dual-fuel engine oil.The test using instrument of infrared spectroscopy and atomic emission spectrometry to analyse functional groups and elemental composition of the "nano- hydrocarbon" particle additive respectively, analysing its influence to physical and chemical properties of CNG / gasoline dual-fuel engine oil by the apparatus of viscosity, flash point and pour point.Using gasoline engine oil , diesel engine oil , base oil, CNG / gasoline dual-fuel engine oil as lubricating oil undertaker and ZDDP as comparison anti-wear additives,using four-ball friction testing machine and Timken testing machine to test its extreme pressure and anti-wear properties,and through modern surface analysis techniques to study and discusse its lubrication mechanism.The test result indicated "nano-hydrocarbon" particle lubricating additives can improve lubricating oil's resistance to abrasion, and its the best proportion is about 2.5%. |
