Cyanide has been vastly applied to industries of gold extraction,plating,synthetic rubber, synthetic fibre,coking and organic class manufacture etc.As the increasing application,the cyanic waste water has been polluting the environment heavily,which menacing human being's heath and animal's and fish's lives seriously.Treatment of Cyanide containing waste water,but the research of decyanidation at present exist limitation,accordingly limit the actual application.So it is important to investigate the cost-effective methods of decyanidation from waste water.In this paper,a detail analyzing and discussion of the decyanidation methods is made,a new method based on the way of ligand conversation is discussed.Absorbent charcoal and molecular sieve are choosed as carrier.The decyanidation materials can be obtained by loading Cu2+,Ni2+ on the skeleton of the materials.The research work is divided two parts. first absorbent charcoal and molecular sieve was served as cynide sorbent carrier,by the complextion of Cu2+,Ni2+ and CN-,absorbent charcoal and molecular sieve is modified by Cu2+,Ni2+.The optimal modified condition are determined in the experiment after the cyanide sorbent carrier preparation.On the other hand,the effect of the decyanidation materials modified by Cu2+,Ni2+ under different conditions are discussed in details,such as decyanidation condition,diturb condition and eluting condition.The main conclusions have been summarized as follows:the range of PH is wide in decyanidation by the cyanide sorbents,the decyanidation materials have no effect to disposing-cynide in the extent of alkalinity;the sorption capacity of the cyanide sorbents are all 22mg/g,the sorbents have the decyanidation less than 0.5mg/L from a high concentration in waste water;the decyanidation materials is eluted by 1mol/LHON3 and elution efficiency can reach about 90%;In this article,the mechanism of decyanidation is discussed in details.The result shows that the sorption isotherms of decyanidators correlate with Langmuir isotherm models,the mechanism of decyanidation is a process of ligant exchang.This method has a high decyanidation capability,the obvious characteristic of this method is its high selectivity,it will not react with other ion in waste water in the process of decyanidation,sequential pollution is little.So It will be a kind of prospective method in the decyanidation of waste water.
