Bag filter is a kind of widely used gas cleaning equipment. With the characteristics of high efficiency of cleaning, high adaptability, flexibility, simple structure and stability, it becomes a very important part of gas cleaning equipment in highway construction. Because highway construction in our country has a very fast development in these years, the research of bag filter has a very important significance.The classification, working principle and the factors of filtration efficiency about bag filter are introduced in the first place. And the construction of bag filter test-bed is designed on this foundation. The test bed is a reference design from a small bag filter can be carried out under different conditions of the test. The design includes filtration bag, box, wind resistance calculation and structural design of pipelines, fan selection, cleaning and cleaning mechanism design and distributed design of delivery devices.The measurement method of the main performance parameters of bag filter has been introduced. Cement is used as test powder and cloth bag is used in the test. Test parameters refer to the actual working conditions so the results of the test are consistent as far as possible. The experimental results are analyzed in the end.Fluent, a internationally popular computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software, is used in the numerical simulation of the internal flow field of the bag filter. Fluent has a wealth of physical models, advanced numerical methods, as well as powerful processing capability, it has a wide range of applications in many areas. The internal pressure field and velocity field have been simulated in both single bag model and four bags model of bag filter. The intuitive and concrete results have been received and analyzed, providing a reference for further improvement of bag filter.
