Groundwater is a common issue which constrained the development of the coal mine.Yutianbao coal mine is located at the south of Wansheng District of Chongqing With the extension to the deep area of the coal mine ,the quantity of the groundwater of the coal mine is more greater in recent years.There were serval studies on the coal mine in order to resolve the groundwater problem of Yutianbao coal mine,and said the groundwater is coming from the P2c,and give the concept of the separation zone,and do some things to reduce the quantity of the groundwater,but the issue of the coal mine has still not been resolved.To reduce the quantity of the groundwater of Yutianbao coal mine,the author do some reach to the dynamics of the groundwater flow into the coal mine,thelaneway of +150m,the laneway of -100m,the laneway of -350m use the information about 26 years from 1983 to 2008,and do some experiments on the 34 water samples taken from the three laneways,which including common ion such as HCO3-,SO42-,Cl-,K++Na+,Ca2+,Mg2+ as well as temperature, salinity, conductivity, PH.in June 2008 in the laboratory.To make it cleary,it is useful to send the water samples to test its isotope of deuterium and oxygen 18 of the groundwater samples taken from the -350m At last it is give the result that the groundwater in the laneway of +150m is coming from the p2c ,-100m is coming from the old mine area and the groundwater from the last laneway,-350m is coming from the rain through the T1j.The establishment of mathematical model, using the infiltration coefficient method the gray system model and time series model,and predict.the.quantity.of the groundwater in the laneway of +150m,in the laneway of -100m,in the laneway of -350m.and the whole mine in 2008.Use infiltration coefficient method ,the quantity of the groundwater in the laneway of +150m,in the laneway of -100m,in the laneway of -350m.and the whole mine in 2008 is 118m3/h,50m3/h,62m3/h and 514m3/h Use the gray system models to predict the quantity of the groundwater is 127m3/h,90m3/h,257m3/h and 523m3/h;Use the time series model is:106m3/h,84m3/h,331m3/h and 714m3/h.Finally analyse the result of the prediction.It is estimated that the time series model is the best methods on Yutianbao coal mine.From the analysis of the dynamics of the groundwater in the laneway of +150m,in the laneway of -100m,in the laneway of -350m.and the whole mine and the prediction of the groundwater in 2008,most of the groundwater of the whole mine is coming from the laneway of -350m.So to reduce the quantity of the groundwater ,the decrease of the quantity of the laneway in -350m is the key factor.
