Oil and gas transportation pipeline cathodic corrosion protection technology has animportant economic significance to extending the service life of metal pipes, ensuring thesecurity of energy transmission and reducing economic losses. In recent years, thedevelopment of power electronics and special power technology make the cathodeanti-corrosion protection technologies increase rapidly in performance. In this paper a set ofcathodic anti-corrosion protection control system withwireless data transmission isdesigned,underthesupportofChinaUniversityofPetroleumInnovationFundproject.Half-bridge DC∕DC converter is selectedas the main circuit of potentiostatbyanalysisandcomparisonofdifferentDCconverters.Andhowhalf-bridgeDC∕DCconverterworksisanalysised gradually and separately while model the transformer as ideal transformer,transformer with the magnetizing inductance and leakage inductance. Moreoverhigh-frequency transformer and clarifying filter inductor are designed all by myself inaccordancewiththeneedsof maincircuit.Control system use the high-performance single-chip 87C196MH as the control core,and a new PWM control method based on single-chip dead-time regulation is proposed byanalyzing the work of single-chip waveform generator mechanism. Of single-chip controlsystem and external interface, the isolated potential reference feedback circuit, voltage andcurrent detection and protection, as well as drive circuit and other parts of the hardware aredesigned. Various components of software design and programming processes are analysedbycombiningthecontrolsystemsoftwaredesign.The function of wireless communication between cathodic corrosion protection deviceand PC could monitor the potentiostat running status, system parameters and the oil pipelineinspection,whichwillbenefitthe informationmanagement. Large number of control experiments and study are conducted for the cathodicanti-corrosion protection control systemprototype. The experiment and test results show thatthe device can be operate safely, stably and reliably, all the waveforms are correct and themain technical indicators have reached the design requirements. Theoretical analysis andexperimental results prove that the control method and the scheme designed are correct andfeasible.
