At present, most oilfields in china have entered into the high water cut stage. Rising of water content in production creates a series of new problems. Produced water disposal in oilfield become essential part of field production. How to exploit high efficiency water technology with low cost become an urgent problem. As an orthodox technology, combination of gravitational separation and coalescence technology advances coalescence efficiency largely. In it, coalescent pack is the stress of coalescence technology.In my paper, I study on coalescence technology, and especially on coalescent pack. Firstly, I summaried preexisting coalescent mechanism and rule, and analysed furthermore on this base. As the collision coalescence and the wetting coalescence mechanism were coexistence and the efficiency of coalescence was enhanced remarkably.This paper designed a pilot plant for coalescence, and manufactured new coalescent pack. This kind of pack have better effectiveness than orthodox pack. Beside, In this paper, the experiment of influence factors was carried out, especially coalescent pack was studied stressly. With oil removal rate and the distribution of particle size, the aspects of coalescent pack was studied include the material, steric configuration and the interval of the coalescent board and proposed the proposals about selection of coalescent pack. Oil wettability pack is better than oleophobic property for treatment of oily wastewater. Structured packing is better than coccodes pack, and selection of the structured packing have something to do with the water inflow. This was introduced detailedly in the paper.Appropriate surface modification of coalescent pack can advance coalescence ability of the coalescent pack. Besides, good steric configuration can also advance coalescence efficiency largely, and this is a research direction of the study of coalescent pack.
