A Evaluation Study Of Urban Ecosystem Health Of Bayannur City In Inner Mongolia

Based on the analysis of urban ecosystem structure, function and features, it takes the results of ecosystem health theory and the urban ecology theory as references, and employs the methods of principle component analysis, establishes five elements of evaluation index system which includes vigor, organizational structure, resilience, ecosystem services, human health, and further determines the weight of the indicatorsBy establishing evaluation model for urban ecosystem health evaluation with fuzzy mathematics method, it forms a complete index system, which includes weight, evaluation criteria and evaluation model of urban ecosystem health evaluation. And it is a preliminary study of Bayannur ecosystem health of urban changing track in Inner Mongolia from 2003 to 2007. The results show:Firsltly, during 2003 to 2007, the health status of Bayannur city is in the pathological level. But the overall health status gets better and better, and in 2007 it is the best.Particular, the total membership of the very healthy and the healthy also are increasing year by year, and the largest increase is in 2007. It shows that the urban ecosystem is developing healthily and orderly after the implementation of effective ecosystem management measures.Secondly, from the situation of elements, we can see the positive factors of affecting ecosystem health of Bayannur City maintains ecosystem service functions, which are in sub-health state. And the element of resilience is relatively more favorable factor.In these two elements, as long as appropriate efforts have been made, the state of health will be much improved. The negative factors affecting urban ecosystem health are health, vigor and organizational structure.Based on the analysis of changing track of various factors affecting the change of ecosystem health in Bayannur city, and contributions of each elements to changing of ecosystem health in Bayannur city, it provides suggestions to enhance the level of urban ecosystem health as followings:①continue to develop the economy, adjust and optimize industrial structure.②to accelerate the pace of opening up③further strengthen the extend of ecological protection and environmental protection④improve urban infrastructure construction⑤enhance the overall cultural and physical level of city residents...
