Research On The Tolerance Indication In The New Generation GPS And Development Of The Application System

In manufacturing industry standards, Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) is the most important technical standards. The new generation GPS standards is a new international standard system still under researching and developing, which aim at completing a function-oriented comprehensive and standardized specification in the process of manufacturing, including product design, manufacturing, testing and so on. Accordingly, it is necessary that the tolerance indication should contain detailed information coinciding with the specification of the new generation GPS. This paper first studies and discusses the tolerance indication system under new generation of GPS, then establishes a framework for tolerance indication system, at last finish the tolerance indication application system based on AutoCAD software.In this paper, at first, the indication of tolerance under the new generation of GPS standard system are discussed and researched. Then summarize the basic data and information symbols of the tolerance indication, and establish the information database for tolerance indication system, at last, realize the tolerance indication application system based on AutoCAD software. The application system is developed with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005; the ObjectARX technology of AutoCAD is adopted, that mainly including the development technology of custom entities. The system information database is created by using Microsoft SQL Server2000 database system, which including the tolerance value, parametric type, reference types, sampling strategy and so on. Use MFC ODBC database access technology, and combine with standard database language SQL to achieve the accession of the tolerance indication database. The tolerance indication application system runs on AutoCAD platform and achieves the functions of tolerance indication, edition and deletion, thus can help designers to complete the tolerance indication under the new generation of GPS standard system.
