Recently,organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) have been extensively studied due to their potential applications for low driving voltage,bright emission,and a wider viewing angle in full-color fiat-panel displays.Derivatives of 2,2'-bipyridine have received much attention due to their potential for metal coordination to form metal complexes,which have diverse applications.The triphenylamine and carbazole compounds have been widely considered to be hole transport materials with excellent performances in view of their nitrogen atoms "N" with eletron richness and ability of strongly donating electron,good electropositive behavior and relative high hole mobility in electric filed.This dissertation focuses on the synthesis of a series of 2,2'-bipyridine derivatives and Eu(â…¢) complexe and the synthesis of two 4,4'-dinaphthalene derivatives containing triphenylamine or carbazole groups.The contents are as follows:1.2,2'-Bipyridine derivatives were synthesized starting from 2,2'-Bipyridine through consecutive of oxidation,nitration,bromination,deoxidation and Suzuki coupling reaction.The structure of product was characterized by elementary analysis and 1HNMR spectra.2.Using 2,2'-Bipyridine derivatives as ligand,a series of Eu(â…¢) complexes of (DBM)3EuABipy,(DBM)3EuNBipy,(DBM)3EuBrBipy,(DBM)3EuMPBipy,(DBM)3EuDNPPBipy,(DBM)3EuDABipy,(DBM)3EuDNBipy,(DBM)3EuDBrBipy,(DBM)3EuDMPBipy were synthesized and characterized by IR, UV-visible.Their absorption,luminescence and fluorescence yields were also studied.3.two novel hole transport materals,4,4'-bis((4"-carbazolyl)phenyl)-4,4'-dinap -hthalene(CZNP) and 4,4'-bis((4"-N,N-diphenyl)phenyl)-4,4'-Dinaphthalene(CZNP ) were synthesized from 2,2'-Bipyridine through a series of Diazotization-halogenati -on and Suzuki coupling reaction.The structure of product was also characterized by elementary analysis and 1HNMR spectra.
