Important disk parts in titanium alloy at avigation require equaixed structure beforethe last isothermal forming. Forging of disk parts in titanium alloy usually have twoprocess, there are billet fabrication process and isothermal forming process. Thereinto,if the structure of workpiece is equality affects the structure and erformance of disk part which after forge. So, which billet fabrication process choose for making disk parts in titanium alloy is important.The hot compression experimental and finite element method were employed to simulate billet fabrication process of compressor disk of titanium alloy TC11 and TA15. Software of forge process optimize was developed base on VB programme. A brief introduction to the project and its main achievements are as follows:(1) The thermal simulation compression experiment of TC11and TA15 is designed,(2) The finite element software DEFORM 3D was employed to simulate billet fabrication process of compressor disk of titanium alloy TC11. The distribution of temperature and effective strain fields were investigated various passes. Simulation results show that the optimal compression ratio of TC11 is 41% during multi-pass upsetting and stretching. The process of stretching is divided into two steps, and in eachstep, compression ratio is 50%. And in the last pass, the workpiece should be upset to210mm first and rotated 180°then upset to 140mm. The initial coarse lamellar structure can be transferred to refined equaixed structure through multi-pass upsetting and stretching, which can provides eligible workpiece for the next forging process.(3) Via simulate billet fabrication process of compressor disk of titanium alloy TC15 by finite element software DEFORM 3D, we found that the procedure of stretching hexagonal cross-section can significantly enhance face temperature, and the uniformity of deformation, and the microstructural homogeneity. Original ratio of height to diameter can not excess two,or else, it will emergence double drum and other disfigurement.(4) Software of forge process optimize was developed base on VB programme. It helpful in forge process optimize.
