With the rapid development of the domestic aviation, aerospace, automotive and machinery industry, new demands in level of spline production were put forward. In recent years, precision forming technology has a rapid development for its high efficiency, low consumption, high intensity and high-precision, etc. in Europe, America, Japan and other developed countries. However, the researches on domestic precision forming process and theory of spline cold rolling still in its infancy. Therefore, a lot of research units and a large number of research scholars have been attracted and set up a variety of theoretical models, but the parameters of theoretical models for calculating the process have not been able to guide the production accurately and reliably and it are always set up on the basis of a large number of test rolling in actual production.This paper analysis in spline cold rolling precision forming process theory and parameters, and did some tests in spline cold rolling on Z28KJ-20 CNC, and through building a data detection system, the dynamic changes curves of the rolling speed, the radial force and the shear force of workpiece in the forming process of spline cold rolling process of rolling. The parameters'relationship between spline cold rolling precision forming process and equipment were analyzed in this paper and by changing the process parameters (rolling speed, feed rate and work trip) analyzed the impact of force law on the rolling, meanwhile the optimal processing parameters were determined. From what the maximum roll pressure can be calculated and roll out the best spline. Based on the curves of the radial force of the cold rolling process, analyzed the flow-forming process and the results proved that the forming size of spline, hardness and surface roughness reached the technical requirements. The dynamic testing experiments on the rolling speed, the radial force and the shear force provided the basis for the designing and selecting the cold-rolling equipment and devices, the built data detection system can also provide a preliminary basis and methods for the future remote monitoring function of processing parameters in spline cold rolling process.Based on the Technologic analysis and experimental study, this paper provided the theoretical basis and reliable experimental data for the further study of precision forming process of cold rolling and spline cold rolling production. So it has important theoretical values and practical significances.
