Fluoride,which is closely related to human health, is the trace chemical element. Human body's fluorine comes from drinking water mainly, as a drinking,content of which is worth attentional topic for the environmental health. Reference to a lot of material about it, fluoride from shallow groundwater is taken in Huai bei plain as studying project.Based on hydrogeological conditions of shallow groundwater in the Huaibei Plain, concluded that the hydrochemistry type are mainly Na-Ca-HCO3 type,Na-HCO3 type,Na-SO4 type,Na-Mg-HCO3-SO4 type of shallow groundwater in this area through spot investigation, sampling, testing, analysis. Fluorine content in the plane has increased from the central to north-west and decreased from the central to south-east; on vertical, the range is at 1922m scope in north and 13.520m scope in the central,but not excessive in south. It is positive correlation between fluorine and pH, and negative correlation between fluorine and hardness in shallow groundwater. The difference of the correlation in space is clear between fluorine and Eh, Ec, TDS. It has varying degree correlation in space among fluorine and(Ca2++Mg2+)/(Na++K+), (SO42-+Cl-)/HCO3-. In addition, according to saturated - non-saturated belt structural feature in Huaibei plain, fluorine leaching simulation test is designed and reveled the migration and change rule of fluorine ion in shallow groundwater. The result indicated that the fluorine migration has the obvious hysteresis quality,and described the fluorine ion concentration weaken change conform to the exponential decay curve rule basically, fluorine concentration peak value presented a quadratic function along the soil column. Finally, the formation mechanism and Influencing factors of fluorine were analyzed in shallow groundwater, proposed some specific measures and suggestions according to the current situation and existing problems of shallow high-fluorine water area.
