To Research The North-South Relations From The Field Of Ecological Security

Since the industrial revolution took place in 18th century, for human's over-exploitation to the natural world, led to imbalance in the relationship between human and nature , the disturbance of natural systems, have brought about serious ecological issues. After the Cold War, with the development of economic globalization,ecological issues gradually developed to global issues from endemic and regional issues, so the human facing great challenges of their own survival and development. The road from ecological issue to ecological crisis is precondition that ecological security issues come into being. The serious consequences which been initiated by ecological issues, makes ecological issues been put on the political agenda. Ecological issue is the starting point, securitization is the process, non-securitization is the aim. The essence of ecological security is the security of human; it gives an important warning to human survival and development.Ecological issue is the most outstanding and time characteristics of global issues, it brought about profound influence on the contemporary international relations. The north-south relations are very important component of contemporary international relation, it have been injected the new content. On one hand, the north and south countries have great contradiction in ecological security; on the other hand, the features of ecological issues make cooperative the best way to solve the problem. According to the ecological security, the north and south countries are carrying on fierce struggle and cooperation.This paper limited the North-South relations to ecological security, mainly based on the theory of ecological security perspective. First, analyses ecological security and its theory. Second, discusses the impact what ecological security imposed on international relations. Third, explains the urgency and importance to develop North-South relations in the international ecological security system. Finally, proposes North-South cooperation in ecological achieved certain results, while there are still many difficulties. In order to protect the global ecological security, establishing ecological security cooperation mechanisms and achieving global governance is an effective way. North-South relation which is the relation between developed countries and least developed countries whose struggle and cooperation will be the most important basic elements of the international community's ecological security ,while it is also the focus and difficulty of this paper.In the foreseeable future, the both sides will continue to struggle in the ecological security, but, cooperation based on reality and responsibility may salvage the common future of human.
