At present, printing ink has been entered the resinification stage all round in our country, lithographic plate offset ink mainly uses rosin modified phenolic resin. the further development and improvement is the main problem studying in every country.The main contribution of this paper includes:1,the preparation of resolUsing 4-tert-Butylphenol,4-Octylphenol as raw material, sodium hydroxide as catalyst, controlling the reaction condition to prepare resol. Lastly we established the best preparation technology of resol with changing several reaction conditions, the best preparation technology is: reaction temperature 65℃, reaction time 4h, the molar ratio of phenol to formaldehyde 1:2, the amount of catalyst 3%, the condensation of catalyst 6%。2,Polymerized rosin modified phenolic resinChanging the molar ratio of 4-tert-Butylphenol to 4-Octylphenol are 1:1,1:2,1:3,3:1,2:1,and synthesized resol respectively, modified with 140# polymerized rosin, we established the preparation technology of polymerized rosin modified mixed phenolic resin with changing several reaction conditions, and got the high grade product with viscosity 20Pa·S/35℃~60 Pa·S/35℃, soften point 180℃~195℃, n-Heptane allowable value 6mL/3g~12mL/3g.3,Light colored resin productAfter the studying of different compound catalyst and antioxidant systems, we successfully reduce the resin reaction time from10h to 2.5h, the resin color from 15 fall down to11, which condense the esterification time greatly.Finally, we prepared inks using this resin , which possess good printability, high lustrousness and better water resistance.
