As an element to measure high pressure, PVDF stress gauge has high advantages, such as self-powered operation, wide stress operating range, thin, high frequency response, high output signal etc. So, develop it' s applications in quantitatively measure the explosive pressure of detonators is an important direction of native researches on PSG.In this paper, the principle of PSG, the status of it' s application, and two modes of measurement are summarized. The theoretic support of PVDF pressure test technology is deduced. A data-acquiring and processing system based on PSG dynamic pressure test is set up.Practical application of PSG to measure the output of detonators is the core of this paper. By monitoring the output of detonators, a set of applied fixtures based on PVDF pressure test is built. With academic analysis and compare of the experimental results, a dynamic test system based on PVDF quantitatively measure the output power induced by detonators is built.
