In this paper,the reactor's start-up and anaerobic granular sludge cultivating method were studied based on a series of testing using the combination of sucrose and glucose wastewater.In this work,the most suitable operating condition of ABR was studied,The result could be summarized as follows:1.When the in creasing the VLR form 1 to 5kgCOD/m~3·d,the HRT=24h,the temperature=33±1℃, after 60 days operation,the COD removal rate of reactor is steadly 87%or so.The PH value of the effluent is almost 7.2.2.When taking the HRT as a constant,we gradually enhance the influent concentration in order to increase the loading rate,loading rate is increased from lkgCOD/(m~3·d) to 5kgCOD/(m~3·d).When the influent concentration is lower than 3500mg/L,it had little influence on the treatment effect.When the influent concentration is higher than 3500mg/L,we need to increase the basicity of the ABR.3.When taking the influent concentration as a constant,we gradually enhance the HRT in order to increase the loading rate.When the HRT is from 32h to12h,it has little influence on the ABR's treatment efficiency.When the HRT decreases to 8h,the quality of the effluent is getting wores,then we need to increase the basicity of the ABR.4.When the influent COD concentration is 1500mg/L,HRT=24h,the temperature is from 40℃to 15℃.The results showed that:When the temperature is 35℃,treatment efficiency of the ABR reached its highest level.When the temperature is as high as 40℃,the treatment efficiency has not been affected strongly.When the temperature is as low as 15℃,the condition of the effluent deteriorates seriously.5.Because of the high influent concentration,the first compartment takes on as several times sludge loading as the other compartments.And it is mainly in acidification phase.There are a large amount of organic acids produced.Therefore,the sluge in the first two compartments are gray,loose and rough.The sluge in last two compartments is in methane producing phase,and is black,small,dense and smooth.
