Urban river is one of the essential requirements for the survival and development of the city. It plays an important role in the economical development and ecological protection in the cities and its surrounding areas. The aggravation of the urban river pollution leads to the deterioration of river environment and the disruption to the ecological balance of rivers. Urban river pollution also directly impacts urban environment and urban socio-economic development around the river. The long and widespread problem of that the urban water conservancy falls behind urban development has serious hampered the development of social productive force. Therefore, management of urban rivers, especial the pollution control of urban river water has brooked no delay.This experiment adopted the Norway International patent HYBASTM (Hybrid Actuation System) Technology to carry out nitrogen and phosphorus removal with Buji river water and to explore the effect of the HYBASTM Technology. Seek for possibly operational and energy saving and efficient process by optimizing the process parameters. Examine ways to improve micro-environment ecosystem of wastewater biological treatment. Compare different suspended carriers at home and abroad to offer reference to suspended carriers option. The test results are as following:(1) During the testing, the concentration of NH3 - N in Buji River is between 6.4-38.0 mg/L, the average is 21.6 mg/L. After treatment by HYBASTM Technology, the concentration of NH3 - N in effluent is between 0-4.6mg/L, the average is 1.2 mg/L, the removal rate is 94.7%. When the operation is normal and the temperature is higher than 20℃, the Ammonia concentration in effluent is lower than 0.5mg/L. This indicates that HYBASTM Technology has a good effect of ammonia nitrogen removal.(2) HYBASTM Reactor can be re-started quickly and can resume normal operation within 7 days.(3)HYBASTM Reactor can effectively remove the organic pollutants in the low concentration urban sewage. When HRT is eleven hours, the COD concentration in effluent is lower than 50mg/L, reaching grade A of Cities Sewage Treatment Plant Pollutant Discharged Standard. Adding carbinol to enhance C/N of the raw water, the COD concentration in effluent is the same as usual.(4) The best operating parameters of HYBASTM is: HRT 11 hours, internal reflux point is pre-anaerobic tank (A1), internal reflux ratio is 200%;HRT of each tank is: pre-anaerobic tank(A1) 1.5h, anaerobic tank(A2)1.5h, multiple aeration pool(O1)2.5h, aeration pool(O2)3.5h, anaerobic tank(A3)2h.(5) HYBASTM Reactor has good decontamination effect in low temperature, the removal ratio of Ammonia can be higher than 90%, removal ratio of Total Phosphorus can keep at the level as in summer..(6) Adding methanol to enhance the ratio of C:N. When the ratio of C:N is 8,6 and 4, the concentration of TN is 12 mg/L,11mg/L,14 mg/L . It reaches grade A of Cities Sewage Treatment Plant Pollutant Discharged Standard(7) Five kinds of suspended carriers are studied during the performance test. The result shows that anoxkaldnes suspended carrier has the largest specific surface area, the best bio-film training. Ball suspended carriers have the best decontamination ability, so it is the best suspended carriers of the five.
