With the development of petroleum and chemical industry, the pollution of hydrocarbon compounds in environment has got much attention. In our country, the lack of environmental detection standard of hydrocarbon compounds in soil and the standard of environmental harm analysises and treatment research of soil polluted by pertoleum makes related research more difficult.Based on domestic and overseas research, three pretreatment methods of hydrocarbon in soil were compared systematiclly—soxhlet extraction, ultrasonic extraction, surge extraction。These three methods were studied in different time, and the best time of every method was analyzed. Then, the effect of every method in optimal time was compared, and the best pretreatment method was selected.Based on the method selected, the extraction abality of different solvent was also studied. The result shows that:soxhlet extraction with 36h,with acetone/dichloromethane(V:V=1:1) as solvent has stronger extraction than others studied. The rocovery rate ranges from 91.7% to 111.4% which satisfies requirement. The linear correlation of standard curves is good and the detection limit is low.Based on the study above, the composition, distribution and pollution sources of saturated hydrocarbons in different soil profiles in Dongying was investigated. The saturated hydrocarbons are dominated by normal alkanes, naphthenes. The carbon number of normal alkanes ranges from nC15-nC35,and the naphthenes includes sterane, terpane and hopane. The saturated hydrocarbons in soil in chemical industry area are mainly from fossil fuel, while high plant-derived saturated hydrocarbons dominates in forest region and farmland, and fossil fuel contamination to different extent.
