Urbanization development and sewage industry development have brought about a soaring increment of sewage sludge, how to dispose the ever-increasing sewage sludge and eliminate their hazard has become a serious problem with which people are currently confronted. The final objective of sewage sludge is to meet the requirements of decrement, stabilization and resources recycle. To conform to the new trend, incineration has become a promising disposal method. Whereas, sewage sludge is high moisture and low caloric fuel, which weakness the feasibility and economics of incineration. In order to spreads the application of these new technologies, the combustion of semi-dried sewage sludge is being considered. So it's necessary to study the combustion and the main pollutants emission characteristics of semi-dried sewage sludge collected from a sludge drying apparatus in CFB.At first, we introduced the classification and harm and source of sewage sludge, the methods of disposal about sewage sludge and sewage sludge disposal present situation of our country summarized the research results about fluidized bed sewage sludge burn. On this foundation, we determined this paper content.We studied the basic characteristics of semi-dried sewage sludge including the component, the pyrolysis and combustion characteristics, the heavy mental content and ash melting point of the semi-dried sewage sludge. Burnout index and general combustion parameter of sludge were calculated, and combustion kinetic parameters were obtained by the Coasts method. The experimental results provide basic data for the energy application of sewage sludge and the adjustment of sludge incineration devices.We studied the combustion characteristics of semi-dried sewage sludge in CFB incinerator, and tested the emission of second contaminant in the incineration process. Through combustion of semi-dried in CFB incinerator, we understand and grasp the operation and emission characteristics of semi-dried sewage sludge incineration in the CFB incinetator.We build a large CFB incinerator. This paper introduced the system and structure of this test facility in detail. The experiment discoveries explain that the test facility accords with the design requirement.On the basis of study of combustion mechanism of semi-dried sewage sludge, the overall thermodynamics design and verify calculation of the 300t/d sewage sludge circulating fluidized bed incinerator is carried out and the general drawing of incinerator is given.The conclusions from above experiment are helpful to the development of combustion disposal methods of semi-dried sewage sludge and supply valuable reference datas for more research about semi-dried sewage sludge combustion in CFB.
