The exhaust liquor from the domestic lithium manufacture plant recycling lithium contains a large number of aluminum and fluorine ion, was directed bleed-off, because of high cost recovery or other reasons, it will lead to environment pollution and a waste of resource. It is significant that cryolite products in the tight market were prepared from recycling exhaust liquor contains a large number of aluminum and fluorine ion resources, not only reduced the environment pollution, but also recycled the availability resource.In this paper, a new method of manufacturing cryolite from liquid waste of lithium factory was developed. The reaction take place between the waste and ammonia gained the complex of aluminum and fluorine precipitation and ammoniated solution; through the single factor experiment, researching those factors such as the liquor value of pH, mixture ratio between additive water amount and waste liquor, reaction temperature and reaction time , were influence to percent recovery of aluminum and fluorine, to gained the optimum condition, the recovery rate of aluminum is 93%, fluorine is 92%; the research has shown that the reaction reclaimed the aluminum and fluorine, the aluminum was existed in aluminum hydroxide, the fluorine was existed in aluminum fluoride , the filter cake is existed in the compound of aluminum hydroxide and aluminum fluoride.With the second step, cryolite is manufactured through the reaction of the aluminum and fluorine complex and the hydrofluoric acid and the Soda Ash. The compound of the slurry of pH value and style of feeding were influence to cryolite feasibility and filtrate. The experiment study those factors such as pH value, mixture ratio between additive water amount and waste liquor, reaction temperature, reaction time and so on to influence to quality and yield in the cryolite., then gained the most suitable craft conditions; in the optimum condition, the yield of the cryolite is 96.44%, these products including the cryolite conformed to the national and industry standard.With the distribution of(particle)size, cauterize, the atomic absorption, the X-beam diffraction meter(XRD) and so on, the product performance carries on the attribute. The research indicated the product of cryolite is the common cryolite, the shape is powder, the diffraction maximum of XRD is tallied with the standard of cryolite powder.Ammonium sulfate is prepared by sulfuric acid neutralization ammonia solution after recycle aluminum, and the outgrowth of ammonium sulfate is content 19.4% nitrogen, can be used to chemical fertilizer.In the whole of technological process, the full of liquid waste were reclaimed, the resource of aluminum and fluorine were made good use, the reaction condition was moderately ,no waste residue and gas and sewage were produced during this process;cryolite and ammonium sulfate were sales promotion products, the process was benefit of economic.
