Simulated moving bed (SMB) chromatography separation technology is a powerful and attractive method, space-time conservation element/solution element (CE/SE) method is a brand-new high-precision numerical methods to solve the conservative equation, this paper combines both aspects to study, after research, this paper finally obtain good results.On the one hand, this paper explore a superior, advanced, rapid and efficient numerical method for the SMB adsorption chromatography separation model, and overall performance of the SMB chromatographic separation is further upgraded and improved;On the other hand, applications of space-time CE/SE method which has been popular in the international aren are expanded to the field of SMB chromatographic adsorption separation, to some extent,confirming this efficient algorithms'broad applicability and powerful capability to handle complex fluid problems.This article first study the SMB chromatographic model,through simulation and comparison, numerical result's accuracy of different solution methods show nearly five times gap and calculation speed also reach nearly nine times gap,so,numerical method has big influence on SMB chromatography separation effect,and traditional numerical methods show slow speed,unstable,low precision limitations. Then study the space-time CE/SE method, through simulation solving single-dimension conservative convection diffusion equation, numerical results of CE/SE method show advantages of high precision, efficiency and stable. Then combine the CE/SE method with the SMB chromatography model to study,apply CE/SE method to solve concrete SMB model, compare with orthogonal configuration finite element method (OCFEM) in theory and simulation results.Obtaining that CE/SE method is more stable than OCFEM, precision is 5% high than OCFEM, speed is also nearly one-third fast than OCFEM.Finally in virtue of the actual industrial glucose-fructose SMB chromatograph adsorption separation example, analyze and evaluate CE/SE method's CFL number and space grid number parameters by simulation. The results show that, CFL number has not much impact on numerical results, while grid point number has big impact. The separation process with CFL number is 0.8, grid number is 51 and cycle is 40, numerical results performance is relative the best. Besides, CLF number can still increase properly to improve performance.Apply this article research results in the actual industrial engineering to instruct the practice, according to this article research content and result, can reduce the experiment cost, raises the efficiency, will bring the great economic efficiency and the social efficiency, theoretically, but need the further research confirmation.In addition, this study is of certain reference functions to the further study about space-time CE/SE method's application on SMB chromatography model problem, and research results also have certain theoretical value and practical value.
