Compact spinning is a modified ring spinning process, which can be divided into pneumatic compacting and un pneumatic compacting. Pneumatic compacting whose wind pressure of agglomeration zone is supplied by small blower system is introduced by almost all domestic spinning factories recently. As a result ,some companies begin to developing large blower system.In this paper, the 3-D software of GAMBIT is to be aimed at the the large blower system in our laboratory. Seting the boundary conditions of the large blower system in compact spinning of the textile factory, the experimentation of the large blower system of Compact Spinning is compared with the the simulation for whether it is workable.the 3-D turbulent flow of The FDF of Compact Spinning was simulated numerically by the 3-D software of GAMBIT and CFD software of FLUENT.The flow rule and pressure distribution of internal flow field was obtained by the analysis of the characteristic of the flow. The result indicates that the variation of the pressure in the main pipe must be maintained for the equivalent of the in-lets. Too much energy wastage in the side tube . The join of the second-class inlets and the secondary pipe must be improved. Applying CFD technology to 3-D value simulation of the FDF of Compact Spinning, the obtained result of simulation is agreed with actual condition.. Comprehensively using the fundamental theorem, analyzing the FDF and the regular pattern, to solve the problem of the consumption of the pipe . Three improvements are done due to the original system :the improvement of the section form of the main pipe; the improvement of the join of the second-class inlets and the secondary pipe; the improvement of the second-class inlets. The new system is tested by the 3-D software of GAMBIT and CFD software of FLUENT. The paper supply the basement of the further improvement of the large blower system and replace the small blower system until the last marketed.Speeding up domestic compact spinning reform and product development will have positive meaning for our country to promote our international status in textile market.
