Veterinary drug residue is the significant factor that affects safety of animal-derived foods. Effective determination method is the guarantee for food safety. Currently, more strict demand of maximum residue limit of veterinary drugs needs more sensitive determination methods. For the real demand, two kinds of enrichment sorbents were synthesized and applied for pretreatment in the determination of veterinary drug residues in foods.A molecule imprint polymer (MIP), which has specific affinity for Chloramphenicol (CAP), was synthesized by bulk synthesis with CAP as template, and the specific adsorption was characterized in detail. As the SPE enrichment sorbent material, the MIP, coupled with HPLC, was successfully utilized for the determination of CAP in food samples. The limit of detection for the milk sample was 0.15μg L-1; recovery is between 78% and 90%; RSD is in the range of 3.0 % to 8.0 %.As enrichment material, one broad-spectrum macromolecule sorbent was also synthesized in this paper. Coupled with flow-injector and HPLC, This method packed the broad-spectrum macromolecule sorbent in a stainless steel cartridge, and use it instead of the loop on the six port injector valve, coupled to on-line flow inject analyzer to continuously perform extraction of three kinds of CAPs and five kinds of Sulfanilamide without any other pre-treatment. Through the process of the ratios of mobile phase and the wavelength, this method could separate eight kinds of veterinary. The pH of samples, enrichment velocity and elution time were optimized. Coupled with on-line enrichment, HPLC analysis method with good stabilization was utilized to determine three kinds of CAPs and five kinds of Sulfanilamide. The detection limit of all the eight veterinary products ranged from 0.038μg L-1 to 0.064μg L-1 with the enhancement factors in the range of 133.8 to 343.6. The precisions for eight kinds of veterinary were in the range of 2.23% to 8.38%, which indicates that it is valuable SPE material.
