Based on analyzing the characteristics of ventilation system patterns and measuring the parameters of gas at coalfaces,the structure of quasi E-type ventilation is designed based on the theory of aerodynamics,which consists of'U'ventilation and high tunnel. Calculation the principle of the ventilation how to solve gas problem.Through tested on field ,studied the regulation of gas emission and moving in quasi E-type ventilation. Study on the effect of the high tunnel to manage the gas in upper corner,and the effect of the high tunnel position,the distance from return tunnel and the air volume in high tunnel to mange the gas in goaf ,which was studied by simulation program. Result indicate: study under the article parameters, the contrast between quasi E-type ventilation and"U"ventilation, the result was the gas concentration in upper corner descend from 1.6% to 0.58%; the effect used high transfiguration change along with the tunnel apart from return tunnel.The effect of high tunnel used in P ingdingshan Group Ten Mine indicate: Contrast with E10-20120 face because their condition are similar.The result indicate, during the E10-20160 face working ,the gas in upper corner go beyond decline over 60%,the output in everyday raise 60%. In conclusion, through the quasi E-type ventilation used, it have a important significance in manging the gas in upper corner and ensuring working face security and accelerating the fully mechanized technology developing healthy.This article summed up and analyzed at the same time at the traditional methods of gas emission prediction.A new method—analogy is proposed,which can be used for forecasting the gas emission amount between adjacent sections of same coal seam.By theoretical analysis and prediction examples show that the prediction method is accurate, error small, easy-to-use, high reliability. The proposed method of enriching the theoretical prediction of gas emission, and have important guiding significance to manage methane in coal mine too.
