The interfacial properties is the crucial matter of the stability properties of emulsion explosive in emulsion explosive system , which is related to the safety closely in its production, storage, transportation and use. Emulsion matrix of emulsion explosive is a special emulsion. Investigated the effects of interfacial properties of emulsion on different types of carbon fuel ,AN, SN and surfactant by interfacial tension and interfacial shear viscosity of oil-water interface in this paper. First, measuring the interfacial tension of AN and SN solution by CCA-100 type tensiometer. Studied the effects of AN or SN contents on surface tension of water phase at the temperature of 100℃. The relationship between surface tension of carbon fuel oil in liquid state and temperature analysised, and the effects of emulsifier contents on surface tension of carbon fuel oil was studied. On the conditions of water phase and oil phase mass content ratio is 94:6 , investigated on the effect factors of interfacial tension by measuring the interfacial tension of oil-water interface. Second, maintained temperature at 40℃, Studied on the effect factors of interfacial viscosity and the yield value of interfacial film by measuring the interfacial viscosity between AN solution and diesel oil or motor model oil system. The main conclusions are as follows:1. When the total mass content of water phase solution maintains unchanged ,and keeps a certain amount of water, the surface tension of the Water phase solution changed with the content of AN and SN. The value of surface tension of the Water phase solution is the lowest when content of AN is 72%,SN is 12% and H2O is 10%.2. The surface tension of carbon fuel oil decreases linearly with increasing temperature . The surface tension of carbon fuel oil decrease as the emulsifier content increase when the content of emulsifier is in the range of 0~2.5%.However, the decrease was not obvious .On the contrary, when the content of emulsifier in the range of 8.3~58.3%, surface tension of carbon fuel oil increase as the emulsifier content increase.3. Emulsifier can obviously low the interfacial tension of oil-water. The value of interfacial tension remains unchanged basically when the mass content of emulsifier is above 0.8%.The cmc of emulsifier is 0.8%.4. On the condition of the temperature of oil-water system keeping unchanged, the value of interfacial viscosity of oil-water system first decreased and increased later with the increase of emulsifier SP-80 content when the testing equilibrium is reached.The interfacial viscosity of oil-water system gradually increased at equilibrium with the increase of emulsifier T-152 content. 5. Interfacial film formed from oil-water interface. The yield value of interfacial film increase as the emulsifier content increase, and the yield value of motor model oil system is larger than diesel oil system.
