Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) is the most potential non-metallic material and focused highly by many scientists in the word, which can replace steel. The property of interface between carbon fiber and matrix is one of the main factors that impact the general property of CFRP. The property of interface impacts the exertion of the abilities of reinforcement and matrix directly. High modulus carbon fiber (HMCF) is an excellent reinforcement. The interface between HMCF and resin matrix can be enhanced with surface decoration of HMCF by international, and the effects is good. With the application field of CFRP extending, and the request of its comprehensive properties rising, it is always one of the main studies in CFRP field that use the effect of interface fully to improve the comprehensive properties.This paper aim at this problem, and adopt electrochemical synthesis process to decorate the homemade high modulus carbon fiber for enhancing the interlaminar shear strength of high modulus carbon fiber reinforced plastic (HMCFRP). Research the effect of the parameters of electrochemical synthesis process on the structure and property of HMCF and its composite. The study is mainly on the surface decoration process of HMCF by PABA/ acrylic acid system, PABA/ PEG system and PABA/ BPA system, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of every system in detail, confirming the PABA/ BPA system is the best surface decoration system of HMCF, and the parameters of continual surface decoration process of this system, which provides the reference for continual production. The concrete study achievements are as follow.1. Through experiment and research, the ILSS of the composite prepared by HMCF, which surface is decorated by PABA/ BPA system, can reach 73.1MPa, which is better than other systems.2. Cyclic voltammetry is an effective method to filtrate reaction system. Through this method, we confirm the reaction parameters of PABA/ BPA system initiatively: the scale of reaction monomers are 1:1 mol/mol; the consistence of KC1 electrolyte is 0.1mol/L; reaction solvent: distilled water: ethanol=5:4.3. The best parameters of continual electrochemical synthesis of PABA/BPA system are: treatment time is 2 minutes, reaction solvent: distilled water: ethanol=5:2; the drying temperature is 95℃.4. In continual electrochemical synthesis process, the content of compound produced on HMCF rises gradually with the rise of reaction voltage.
