The electrochemical oxidation is a course during which the pollutants in the waste water are changed into innoxious substance by redox reactions taking place on the surface of electrodes or in the solution. Many researchers have paid attention to this technology because of its byproducts fewness, large unit volume load, simplicity of operation and tractability. This dissertation focused on the effects of the reulatory factors of the degradation of the reactive red X-3B and methylene blue containing representative wastewater in galvanostatic electrolysis. The experiments results indicated:(1)The current density was 10mA/cm~2, NaCl concentration was 0.2mol/L, methylene blue concentration was 5mg/L and the pH wasn't controlled, after one-hour electrolysis, the decolorizing rate was 91.8%;(2)In the galvanostatic electrolysis, current density, NaCl concentration and pH values had great effects on the decolorization. Lowering the pH could increase the decolorizing rate dramatically and decrease the power consumption. The initial dye concentration also had effect on the decolorizing rate. The bigger the initial dye concentration was, the bigger the amount of decolorizing was. The smaller the initial dye concentration was, the lower the power consumption was. The decolorizing rate could be increased by adding surfactants.(3) Increasing NaCl concentration or decreasing the initial dye concentration could raised the decolorizing rate by a small margin. The decolorizing rate of high reactive red X-3B could be raised effectively by increase current density.(4) In mixed representative wastewater, reactive red X-3B was degraded preferentially. On the other hand, the methylene blue trihydrate decolorizing rate was decreased because of the competition of reactive red X-3B .(5)The decolorizing rate could be increased by raising the distance between the electrodes, the number of the electrodes and NaCl concentration.
