ZL102 has been widely used in industrial fields for its low density, high corrosion resistance, a certain degree of strength and good plasticity. With the rapid development of modern industry, the demand for high performance is rising continuously by people. Final properties of casting material are depended on solidification structure; in order to control the properties of the materials, they must master the microstructure formation mechanism. A bridge between process design and structure is putted up by microstructure simulation, and it is provided the possibility with controlling the performance, and it has great significance to make a systematism study among the process, the structure and the performance. As one of the most representative structure, studying the eutectic structure in solidification process is importance for understanding the eutectic formation mechanism and the factor influence, and has a positive theoretical and practical application value.Considering the quantitative impact of the volume free energy and interface free energy, there is established a probability Monte Carlo method model for eutectic growth. In the model, the discrete form of simulation domain, the mode of initializing elements orientation, the boundary conditions and the simulation process are determined. The simulation program is programmed by C + + compiler, the whole system contain three parts: pretreatment, Monte Carlo simulation and post treatment, and it is achieved that the simulation domain is selected and dispersed, domain data is obtained and displayed. The eutectic microstructure evolution process is simulated at different undercooling conditions; and in accordance with the characteristics of the distribution of solute concentration in the growth of Aluminum-Silicon eutectic, ZL102 eutectic growth process is simulated.With the simulation programs, the eutectic growth process was simulated. In the undercooling of 20K, 25K and 30K, the eutectic structure simulation results show: lamellar spacing is decreasing with increasing of undercooling. There was Simulated the evolution of the eutectic structure of ZL102, in the simulation, the growth ofαphase andβphase are controlled by the solute concentration. The distribution of simulation ZL102 eutectic organization is basically same with the actual distribution of eutectic.
