The 11th 5-year Plan confirms that the rate of MSW treatment is up to 60% until 2010, and MSW classification is put into effect. The Sino-German project'Resource Recovery and Utilization of Bioorganic Municipal Waste'(RRU-BMW) has been carried out in Shenyang since 2004. According to the source classification and collection of BMW in the pilot areas, the content of BMW in MSW in Shenyang keeps about 80%. The productions of BMW and RMW in the pilot areas in Shenyang are 1.4kg·c-1w-1 and 0.225kg-c-1-w-1. The participation rate of community residents drops and keeps at 55% from 70%.This research seeks for the co-treatment of BMW and livestock manure through the batch and continual anaerobic co-digestion based on the source separation of MSW. The biogas potentials of chicken manure, cow manure, duck manure and BMW are 0.42-0.48L-(gVS)-1 which are higher than pure BMW constituent(0.41L-(gVS)-1); and pig manure and BMW constituents are 0.18-0.24L-(gVS)-1 because of the low biogas potential of pig manure itself(0.13L-(gVS)-1). Based on the batch tests, we choose the equal ratio constituents of BMW and chicken manure, BMW and cow manure separately to do the continual research in CSTR. At the same time we watch the biogas production in middle scale and do the tracing measurement of pH, NH3-N, COD, VFA and methon content, etc. The HRT of BMW and chicken manure is 14 days, and the constituent of BMW and cow manure is 12.5 days. Both of them have high biogas production and methon content; the NH3-N is the restrictive factor.According to batch experiments of chicken manure, cow manure and BMW anaerobic co-digestion, we establish dynamic model of anaerobic co-digestion, stimulate by nonlinear least square method with Origin 8.0 and get the dynamic simulation curve. We can say the model is similar to the reality for the correlation coefficient is all above 95%.
