There are two traditional large flange molding process: one is through the whole forging hydraulic press the character of this method are these : take a long processing time, obtained a poor quality of product, forming rate is low and high energy consumption. Another is through rolling ring machine, the method is a complex process, low finished product rate, covers a large of area, long finished products, there is also a large energy defects.Given the existence of the above technical problems, this study was to improve a large flange molding process, to avoid these shortcomings in reaching the objective of forming a billet heatingThis paper investigated the large flange bending forming research situation home and abroad, introduced the research and development of forming briefly; systematically expounded the basic theory of FEM ,given three-roll bending process flange Thermoforming work principles for different bending process parameters forming process using finite element analysis software MARC DEFORM and the numerical simulation, analysis of the molding process of rolling deformation of metals, has been on the roll in different diameter and different blank thickness and processing of different diameter work piece deformation in the area of metal stress, strain, temperature and other field variables, and load variation. Based on this,the device parameters and process parameters of flange processing is obtained. In theory study, through material science, contact mechanics, finite element method calculation of such analysis and numerical simulation of forming process of winding ring elastic and plastic zone distribution and the law of change. analysis the spring back of the ring. study mechanism of forming.The winding forming method is applied to the production of large metal ring, with high efficiency, small machining allowance, simple equipment, low energy consumption advantages,provide a new way for advanced manufacturing equipment.
